This covers our apps and our websites. It is written as limits rather than a list of features, so it stays accurate as things change. What any one app does is in its Data safety section on Google Play or its Privacy details on the App Store; this policy is the boundary they all stay inside.
Nothing. No accounts, no names, no email addresses, no contacts, no tracking across apps or sites, no profiles. We run no servers and keep no user database. We do not sell, rent or trade data about you — if that ever changes, this policy changes first.
Apps store settings, progress and unlocked content locally so they work as expected. That stays on your device, protected by the device's own security, and is gone when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. Where an app asks for a permission, it is used only for the purpose its store listing describes.
Some apps and pages use services we do not run. These are the only kinds, and what each can see:
Each acts under its own policy for whatever it receives. Your device contacts them directly, so they see your IP address as with any request. We pass them nothing about you, because we have nothing to pass.
No cookies, no analytics, nothing stored on your device, no record of your visit. They load files and small data feeds from the categories above.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent. In practice we hold nothing, but ask and we will answer. For data held by a store or an ad network, those requests go to them and we will point you to the right place.
To complain, email [email protected] with "Privacy complaint" in the subject. We reply within 5 business days and answer in full within 30. If you are unhappy with that answer you can go to a data protection authority — in Canada the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in the EEA or UK, your national one.
